The view from the terrace

Built in 1800 our house sits on the edge of the “bassin” of the Canal du Midi with views south-west across the lake towards the foothills of the Pyrenees. The house has been modernised, but in harmony with the original features. There is a typical oval tiled staircase up the middle of the house and the terrace looks out over the canal. The canal is classified as a world heritage site and the bassin is a centre for boating holidays up and down the canal.

This bedroom can have an additional bed.

We offer 3 rooms with twin beds, all en-suite with shower and w.c. Breakfast is provided in the charming canal-side dining room or outside on the connecting terrace overlooking the canal. Dinner will be provided if booked in advance. It is taken with the family in the dining room or living kitchen according to numbers and formality.

Costs & payments.

* Our rooms are priced at at €50.00 per night for single occupancy and €65.00 per night for double occupancy. This includes Bed and a French breakfast.
* Dinner is charged at €30 per head including wine.
* We will accept £sterling at the exchange rate prevailing on the day.
* We do not accept credit cards. The cost is too high for a small enterprise like ours.
* We accept cheques. They must either be in Euros drawn on a French bank or in Sterling drawn on a UK bank and supported by a cheque card.
